BOITY GETS A NEW TV SHOW ON SABC 1

Halalala, Boitumelo Boity Thulo. Ain't this lady gorgeous? Hmmmm... we can lick a 1000 times no doubt. Argh... anyway. Not only is Boity gorgeous, but she is ambitious too. The actress/model will be hosting a new interactive magazine show called Zoned: Wanna be famous? It is said that she'll be co-hosting with Ses'khona presenter Mpumi Mbethe. Halalala!!

The first episode will air on Thurday, May 17th at 18h30. I don't think I have seen a show like this before, it is quite different. The producers are using new age technology as most of their content, which is great, but will it work in South Africa? Hmmmmm... well, people out there want to be famous, so it might do just great. And who wouldn't want to appear on the same show as Boity mara? 

Basically, Zoned is an interactive multi-platform user-generated magazine reality show for young people by young people. The show encourages young people to capture interesting images and video footage about themselves using their phones and share it with our viewers countrywide.

The uploaded material is viewed and the 5 best stories, as voted for by others, make it into the show. www.sabc1.co.za/zoned. The selected reality stars are then given a state-of-the-art video phone in order to best capture their experiences according to a set of guidelines. Hmmmm.... sounds a little tougher than I thought.

Besides the reality inserts, the show will include other interactive features including: talent competitions, fashion zone, short film zone, comedy zone, social responsibility zone, entrepreneurial zone; gaming zone and much more…

I'll rate this one on the first episode. Congrats to Boity and Mpumi on the show, you ladies are doing great!!
