LOYISO GOLA TO HEADLINE  COMEDY CENTRAL

After just two outings, Comedy Central Presents…Live at Parker’s is fast establishing itself as the hottest go-to stand-up comedy nite in Johannesburg.  Taking place at Parker’s Comedy & Jive the last Wednesday of every month, Comedy Central Presents…Live at Parker’s showcases the best established and up and coming comedians in a relaxed and fun environment.

Topping the bill and MC-ing at the May edition of live comedy gig will be Loyiso Gola, nimbly supported by Deep Fried Man, Martin Jonas and Lazola Gola. He is by the way, one of my favourite local comedians - very funny, outspoken and real. That is the real him that you see on stage. His style is disarmingly frank, but don’t be mistaken into thinking he’s naive: his observations on today’s youth pack hidden a hidden punch that can take your breath away.
