WONTED BIRTHDAY MESSAGES FROM OUR LOCAL CELEBS

Finally... the day has arrived. Wonted turns 2 years old today and we are just full of excitement. As Wonted, we have achieved some much in the last 2 years, broke some pretty interesting stories, made friends, made enemies, hosted some of the hottest parties in Joburg... The MTVbase Nites during the World Cup, we did best there. We have had our great share in fun shem!

We remember the Kenny Kunene story we broke... we when we found out from our USA source that Kenny had been robbed of $550 000 (read the story here) by a fake artist manager claiming to manage Drake and Nicki Minaj. Of cos, on the same day, Kenny confessed that it was true and the next day, the City Press wrote on the story, and a few days later it was on RGB. That was a proud moment.

Last year, we reported on the rumours of the possibility that Bonang and Euphonik have gone separate ways (read here) Of cos... that wasn't true. And that story resulted in her deleting us on BBM (shame man). But we have no beef with her, we are cool like that. And remember the time Morale sent us his single "Call My Number", that was last year July. He thought I was a DJ, and he sent the song to us. I just did what every blogger would do when he gets a song in his inbox fromartists... I put the song up for free download on the site. HA!! Then dude called his lawyers on us, wanted to sue us, went to Daily Sun (of all newspapers). I was chilled though, I did law as a course in first year.

Up to this day, the article with the most hits on the site, is the story we broke when Etv announced that they will broadcast "Naked News". YES!! Sex sells. Lots of you got onto the site to check what time the show plays. SMH... ja ne. But overall it's been a great journey. Shout out to YOU, reading this right now. You are all that this website needs.

Anyway, here are a couple of messages we got from our local celebrities earlier today. These of course, are the Wonted friends. But if they are involved in a scandal... we'll still write about them. Being a friend of Wonted doesn't mean we can't write on your scandals. Here it goes... 3 top messages we loved:

Soul Jock is the producer of Bonang's show on YFM). He is also a TV presenter... I've seen him on SABC 1's Telkom Splash, 'Siyaswima', I'm not sure if he can swim though, but at least he can write a good birthday message:
