BABA MTHETHWA LEAVES SABC FOR SUPERSPORTS ÂÂ
Halalala... all this for a bigger pay cheque papa. Well... I assume. But word on the street is that SABC Soccer commentator Baba Mthethwa is leaving the SABC and joining SuperSport. These are not rumours papa... the news have been confirmed. It's a done deal. Now the whole sotho nation is porting to Supersports. Hmmmmm... Baba Mthethwa? Supersports? Eish... ja ne! "I've always believed that one day I would end up at the World of Champions, SuperSport," says Baba Mthethwa in a press statement issued by Supersports. The press statement goes on to say that Baba will be leaving the SABC after 10 years as commentator there. Huh? That long? Really? Baba says that the move was encouraged by the need for a fresh and new challenge. Baba Mthethwa will start his commentator work for SuperSport with the Carling Black Label Cup in July. I won't lie, I used to watch the soccer on SABC because of his commentary, the dude is hella good. Now I will have to buy myself a decoder and do what a man gotta do *sigh* Follow @wontedcoza for regular updates
