NANDOS TELLS DSTV TO VOETSEK...



You might remember that a couple of weeks ago, SABC together with Multichoice boycotted the new Nandos advert. The broadcasters claimed that the advert was discrimanatory and banned it from their channels. Then about 2 weeks later, DSTV decided to lift off the ban and air the ad... but Nandos is telling them to take a hike as they won't be advertising with them anymore.

The reason is that Nandos didn't like the way that Multichoice treated them as a paying client. Since the ad was banned from South African television and went viral it has been watched on Youtube over 450 000 times.

Hmmmm... so if Nandso won't be advertising with DSTV, and perhaps also with SABC and Etv, how will they survive in this advertsing world? Internet is not accessible to everyone remember, TV is still the best way to market. And then there is TopTV, which Nandos will be using for advertising. But who watches TopTV? SMH!
